Strawberries, Cherries and Apples!

Strawberries

Strawberry season begins around Memorial Day, usually lasting about 3 weeks, depending on the weather. PYO strawberries are sold by the pound. You can bring your own container to pick in, or we will provide a tray and box for you! Ready-picked strawberries are available to purchase at the patch and are sold by the quart box.

This year the strawberry patch is on Blossom Drive, opposite the water tank!

Sweet & Sour Cherries

Sweet Cherries are next in season, and are usually ready to pick in late June. *Starting times always depend on the weather and when the fruit is ripe! PYO Cherries are also sold by the pound, ready-picked by the quart box and are available to purchase where we have the pick your own trailer. We have both Bing and Rainier varieties!

Like strawberries, you can bring your own container to pick in or we will provide one for you. If you bring your own, remember to see us first so we can weigh it in order to subtract that weight of your container from the strawberries & cherries you pick!

Sour Cherries are usually ready after sweet cherries. We don't have many sour cherry trees, so depending on the season they may only be available to purchase ready-picked. We will post updates as soon as we know. You can also called the store and updates will be on our answering machine.

*We have two cherry orchard locations. One is on the corner of Starview Road and Blossom Drive. (You'll see it right when you turn into the orchard) The other is further down Starview Road past Blossom Drive on the righthand side. You'll see the trees and the entrance is to the right, before you get to the woods.

Apples

Pick-your-own Apples starts around mid-September and continues until mid-October. Drive to the salesroom and look for the big apple sign that says 'stop here.' Drive to the right of the sign and here you will be greeted by one of our team members, who will give you a map of the orchard and let you know what apple varieties are currently available to pick!

PYO apples are sold by the half-bushel, one price- regardless of the variety you pick. You can mix and match varieties! We provide half-bushel baskets for you to use. When you return after picking, please stop your car again at the apple sign to pay.

We ask that you follow a few rules in our fields and orchard:

• Please stay in the area you are directed to pick, so that you are not infringing on another customer's space

• For your safety, do not climb our trees

• Pick only what you can reach- no ladders or step-stools are allowed

• Do not pull the branches down to the breaking point.

• We love animals, but dogs are not permitted in the orchard or store

Our orchard welcomes your children and grandchildren. Make your picking time a family outing! Our store is open 7 days a week during PYO Apple season and we also have a picnic area for you to enjoy. Check our Facebook Page for seasonal events!
